Tour Description

The tour includes a visit to The House of Virgin Mary and Ephesus City. Ephesus is significant in Christian history, recognized as the final residence of Mother Mary. After the crucifixion of Jesus, St John brought Mother Mary to Ephesus to escape persecution. The House of Virgin Mary is surrounded by pine and olive trees with a 'wishing wall' and a water source believed to have healing powers. The tour also includes a guided visit through the Roman structures in Ephesus, including the Parliament House, Temple of Domitian, Memmius Monument, Heracles Gate, and the Largest Theatre of Turkey. Additionally, you'll visit a local carpet cooperative to see Turkish carpets being woven and The Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient World. The tour concludes with a fashion show at a leather outlet.
